A crisp, formal diamond trellis in ivory laid over a deep black ground. Fine cream lines cross in a tight lattice with a small woven knot at every intersection, and the diamonds between them are filled with a soft polyester chenille that catches light differently than the flat grid around it — so the pattern reads as both graphic and textural depending on where you stand. It's a classic: the kind of black-and-cream trellis that has looked right in formal rooms for a century and still reads modern on a clean-lined chair.
This is a backed fabric. A knit backing is bonded to the reverse, which gives it real body and stability — it won't stretch out of shape or distort on the frame, it doesn't need a separate lining, and it pulls tight and clean around curves. If you've fought with a floppy jacquard on a tight-pull seat before, this is the difference.
The repeat is tiny at 1 inch each way, so there's almost no matching waste, small pieces cut efficiently, and it runs in either direction without looking wrong. At 55 inches wide it covers more per yard than a standard 54-inch goods.
Use it for dining chairs, accent and occasional chairs, benches, ottomans, headboards, window seats, bar stools and cushions, as well as throw pillows and decorative accents.
