Nantes in Caramel is a warm, golden camel brown with an amber undertone — woven in Belgium from fine chenille yarns that give it a texture somewhere between a traditional chenille and a peach-skin suede. The two-tone yarns keep it from reading flat: the surface has a quiet depth and a soft sheen that shifts with the light. It's a grounding, timeless brown that works with cream, black, olive, brass and walnut.
This is a genuinely hard-working cloth. At over 100,000 double rubs it is rated well past heavy-duty commercial use, and it is dense, soft and pet-friendly — a practical choice for a family sofa, sectional or dining chairs that need to look good for years.
It is also double-sided, with no wrong side, and drapes beautifully — so it works equally well for curtains and Roman shades without needing a lining to hide the reverse.
