This Fabricut mohair is a plush, dense velvet in a soft, heathered denim blue. The cut mohair pile catches the light with a gentle, natural sheen and a slightly brushed, lived-in look, so the color shifts from dusty mid-blue to a cooler blue-gray as you move around it. Mohair has long been a favorite for fine upholstery because of its resilience and its rich, velvety hand, and the acrylic in the blend adds body and helps the pile hold its shape. It works in both classic and modern rooms, and it pairs well with cream, camel, rust, cognac leather, walnut, brass and crisp white.

At over 70,000 double rubs, it's rated well beyond heavy-duty residential use. Use it for sofas, sectionals, club and accent chairs, ottomans, benches, headboards and throw pillows. It's a solid with no repeat, and the pile runs up the bolt, so cut all pieces in the same direction for an even color.
