Defender in Gray Fog is a heavyweight sculpted chenille velvet with a deep, carved texture you can see and feel. Soft velvet ridges ripple across the surface in an organic, wood-grain-like wave, and the light catches each raised ridge so this cool gray shifts from deep charcoal in the valleys to a soft silvery gray on the high points.
It's a true jacquard weave, not a pressed or embossed velvet. Flip it over and you'll see the pattern woven right through to a contrasting gold back. That construction gives it a substantial, heavy hand built for statement upholstery: sofas, sectionals, accent and wing chairs, headboards, ottomans, benches and pillows.

Good to Know
Like most deep-pile chenille velvets, the textured surface can attract stray threads and lint. A quick pass with a lint roller or soft brush lifts them right off. You may spot a few loose threads in our photos too, since we shoot in a working fabric store.
