Baku Sumatra Dehli Caravan Cut Velvet Upholstery Fabric By The Yard

Sumatra is a rayon cut velvet stripe inspired by an antique velvet document, with its traditional roots updated in modern color and geometric flair. Vertical bands of orange, teal blue, yellow and green run the length of the fabric, with softly feathered motifs inside each stripe. Because it's a cut velvet, the pattern is raised in plush pile against a flatter ground, so it has real texture and depth that you can feel as well as see.

At 36,000 double rubs, it's built for everyday seating, and it passes UFAC Class 1, NFPA 260 and CAL TB 117-2013. Use it for accent chairs, sofas, benches, ottomans, headboards and throw pillows. The stripe runs up the roll, and the repeat is 14.17 inches horizontal by 5.11 inches vertical, so plan a little extra yardage if you want to center or match the pattern across cushions.
