Thames in 501 is a soft, earthy moss olive green — a two-tone chenille where darker olive and lighter sage yarns are woven together over a fine irregular crosshatch, so the surface has the look of a washed vintage linen with the hand of a plush chenille. It shifts between a grayed sage and a deeper forest olive depending on the light. A grounding, natural green that sits easily with cream, oatmeal, black, terracotta, brass and warm wood.
Woven in Belgium from 100% polyester, this is a serious workhorse: over 100,000 double rubs on both the Wyzenbeek and Martindale tests, top colorfastness to light, and a pet-friendly rating. It's soft enough to want to sit on and durable enough for a family sofa, sectional or dining chairs.
It also drapes well, so it works for curtains, Roman shades, headboards and bedding as readily as it does for seating.
