Rhine in 300 is a warm rust terracotta — a cinnamon-brick red with a clay undertone, neither orange nor brown but sitting comfortably between the two. The surface is Rhine's signature hybrid texture, somewhere between a bouclé and a chenille, so the nubby weave catches light unevenly and gives the color real depth instead of a flat wash. It's a warm, grounded shade that pairs beautifully with cream, oatmeal, olive, charcoal, brass and terracotta tile.
Woven in Belgium from 100% polyester, this is the heaviest cloth in the line at nearly 16 oz per square yard, with over 100,000 double rubs on both the Wyzenbeek and Martindale tests, excellent colorfastness to light and a pet-friendly rating. It has the substance for a sofa, sectional or dining chairs that get used hard every day.
It drapes well too, so it works for curtains, Roman shades, headboards and bedding as readily as for seating.
A note on shade: because of the way this fabric is made, minor variations in texture and shade can occur between production lots. If you're covering a large piece or expect to reorder, we recommend buying all the yardage you need at once so it comes from the same run.
