Valdese Sailor in Indigo is a rich, heathered navy with fine white flecks woven through — a deep, saturated blue with the subtle strié quality of a washed linen or chambray denim, without any of the upkeep. It's a sophisticated, classic blue that anchors a room without overwhelming it, and pairs effortlessly with white, cream, sand, terracotta, charcoal and natural wood.
Woven in the USA by Valdese Weavers, Sailor is a true yarn-based performance fabric: the performance properties are built into the fiber itself rather than applied as a chemical coating, so there are no added chemicals. The result is a fabric that is naturally water repellent, stain resistant, quick-dry and mildew resistant without sacrificing softness or breathability. Rated at over 50,000 double rubs, it's built for real everyday use. Railroaded at 54 inches, no repeat — cuts clean and efficient with no matching waste.
Use it for sofas, sectionals, chairs, ottomans, benches, headboards, slipcovers and throw pillows. Can also be used for covered outdoor seating and cushions.
