Valdese Holiday in Alabaster is a performance upholstery fabric in a soft, warm off-white. Creamy ivory yarns are woven into a chunky, nubby basketweave with plush, chenille-like texture, so it reads as a calm, clean solid from across the room and shows its rich, dimensional weave up close. It's a warmer, softer alternative to stark white that brings a cozy, inviting feel to a room, and it pairs well with sand, camel, sage, navy, charcoal, black, natural wood, rattan and brushed brass.
Holiday is part of the Inside Out Performance line by Valdese Weavers, woven in the USA from UV-stabilized polyester yarns, including recycled polyester. The performance is built into the yarn rather than added as a coating, so it resists stains, cleans up easily with water and holds its color in sunny rooms. That makes a light off-white practical for sofas, sectionals, dining and accent chairs, ottomans, benches, headboards, cushions and pillows, with the durability to also handle a covered porch or patio.
