crypton-performance-velvet-sintra-rosewood-drapery-upholstery-fabric-by-the-yard
Crypton Performance Velvet Sintra Rosewood Drapery Upholstery Fabric By The Yard

Crypton Sintra in Rosewood is a performance velvet in a deep russet red, a warm brick tone with a brown undertone like polished rosewood. The dense polyester pile has the refined look of a classic European Dralon velvet, with a soft hand and a rich luster that lifts to a warm copper rose where it catches the light and deepens to a dark mahogany red in the folds. It pairs well with cream, camel, charcoal, navy, forest green, walnut, leather and brass.

What sets Sintra apart is the Crypton Home technology. Rather than a surface spray, each fiber is encapsulated through an immersion process, giving the fabric lasting resistance to stains, moisture, odors and mildew. Spills bead up instead of soaking in, most fresh stains wipe away with a damp cloth and water, and tougher spots usually clean up with a little mild soap and water. That makes a richly colored velvet practical for everyday living, even with kids and pets.

At over 50,000 double rubs, Sintra is rated for heavy-duty residential use. Use it for sofas, sectionals, accent and dining chairs, ottomans, benches, headboards, cushions and throw pillows, as well as drapery and window treatments. It's a solid with no repeat, and the pile runs up the roll, so cut all pieces in the same direction for an even color.

Fabric Details
Brand: Crypton
Collection: Crypton Home
Pattern: Sintra
Color: Rosewood
Colors: Russet, Brick Red, Rust, Mahogany Red
Content: 100% Polyester
Construction: Velvet (pile)
Design: Solid
Width: 54 inches
Repeat: None
Direction: Up the roll
Abrasion: Over 50,000 Double Rubs
Finish: Crypton soil and stain release (stain, moisture, odor and mildew resistant)
Cleaning Code: W (water-based cleaning)
Origin: Imported, finish processed in USA
Use: Upholstery and drapery
Sold by the yard

Also available in: Sintra Rouge (muted terracotta red), Sintra Poppy (vivid poppy red), Sintra Rattan (warm caramel cognac), Sintra Oro (antique gold), Sintra Hemp (warm golden tan), Sintra Cobalt (vivid cobalt blue), Sintra Flax (natural linen beige) and Sintra Cream (warm ivory cream)

Ordering a Sample
Not sure about the color or texture?
