baku-sumatra-sundance-canyon-cut-velvet-upholstery-fabric-by-the-yard
Baku Sumatra Sundance Canyon Cut Velvet Upholstery Fabric By The Yard

Sumatra is a rayon cut velvet stripe inspired by an antique velvet document, with its traditional roots updated in modern color and geometric flair. Vertical bands of rust, orange, beige, brown, eucalyptus green and pink run the length of the fabric, with softly feathered motifs inside each stripe. Because it's a cut velvet, the pattern is raised in plush pile against a flatter ground, so it has real texture and depth that you can feel as well as see.

At 36,000 double rubs, it's built for everyday seating, and it passes UFAC Class 1, NFPA 260 and CAL TB 117-2013. Use it for accent chairs, sofas, benches, ottomans, headboards and throw pillows. The stripe runs up the roll, and the repeat is 14.17 inches horizontal by 5.11 inches vertical, so plan a little extra yardage if you want to center or match the pattern across cushions.

Fabric Details
Pattern: Baku Sumatra Sundance Canyon
Colors: Rust, orange, beige, brown, eucalyptus green and pink
Content: 58% Rayon, 42% Polyester
Construction: Cut velvet
Design: Geometric stripe
Width: 56 inches
Repeat: 14.17 inches horizontal, 5.11 inches vertical
Direction: Up the roll
Weight: 496 g/m²
Abrasion: 36,000 Double Rubs
Flammability: UFAC Class 1, NFPA 260, CAL TB 117-2013 pass
Cleaning Code: S (solvent-based cleaners only)
Use: Indoor upholstery
Sold by the yard

Also available in Riviera, Boho and Dehli Caravan.

Ordering a Sample
Not sure about the color or texture?
